First let me explain the logo and name of company

The Logo

I picked an exotic bird to symbolize flight, beauty, and the tropical place it comes from. The hammock is empty and waiting for you. Simply; "be in a place that pleases the mind and soul through your senses".  Your vacation or "your time moment" 

I came up with the idea a while ago when doing some SUP in Hawaii.   I had attached a hammock to a palm tree and a stub of another.  When I came in from paddling I laid the board and paddle up against the stub.  After seeing it from a distance I thought to myself; this is "Livin Da Islands"  

 I used it as the name for an old Hawaii tourist website I built.  Also had it tattooed on my leg.  

The logo has two styles.  Main Logo (hammock/palm/bird)  It is used for products and store. It's meaning is above. The Vacation Cruise Party Logo (drink cup). It is used for the company charity causes, and stands for just enjoying yourself as you are; hence it goes with Live Wild Be You.

Also tattooed on my other leg.  Both put inside the Ship Wheel/Compass.

The Name

My old friend called me Portague' Pete in his best Pigeon English.  He didn't want to use another phrase used in Hawaii towards outsiders. He also thought I reminded him of his other friend Pete.  Pete was an adventurous islander outdoor person always traveling to learn about and explore new places.

I guess I kind of looked like him.  Since my friend was Portuguese and the Portuguese where great explorers and Pete also was a sailor and lived on a sailboat. In both thier memories I drew the ship wheel/compass combo.  They both passed away a while back.

The Shirts

When I started to design the shirts I wanted them to be unique and used for one purpose.

So first I spent a while finding comfortable high quality fabrics that breathe and last.  Then I eliminated the two buttons closest to the collar since tie wearing is unusual while on a cruise or golfing.  Besides you will want to show off that special necklace your family or friend picked out for you at the market place. 

The sleeves resemble that rolled up look as if your on a safari  -  although technically the shirts are not long sleeve 

To finish I put a couple of reinforced slots vertically to hold the only thing you really need and not misplace.

The rest is really up to you.  I hope the pricing strategy is ok.  It's based on material cost and quality of shirt. You choose your comfort level, matial style, and colors.  There are some custom choices and logo wear.  I wanted to keep it simple and unique. There will be a fourth more playful shirt design soon as well as a female swimwear cover up with the same comfort, quality, and style.
